The Savoy Cocktail Book

Written by Harry Craddock in 1930, the book is largely American cocktails that made their way to Europe during Prohibition, along with a number of cocktails thats originated in Europe. It’s still referred to today, and Gary Regan put it best: “Craddock’s book is probably the most important cocktail book of the 20th century, simply because it preserved many old recipes that might have been lost to history had he not set them down for us.”
